Image of God

We are made in the image of God as a fractal is an image of the whole, and not as an illusion reflected in a mirror.

A fractal is identical to the whole in every part, but yet it is not the whole.

The whole only becomes when all fractal parts are in the right place altogether.

Prostitution

Prostitution is the compromise of one's integrity, especially in return for something non essential or irrelevant to one's identity.

So to think and see different just for the sake of pleasing the boss or for gain is as much a prostitution as one who sells her body for money.

Esau selling his birth right for a bowl of pea soup is another example.

And Israel was a prostitute too when she compromised her identity, which was essentially derived from a relationship with God, by exploiting worldly relationships instead, such as seeking a king and forming allies.
